Powered material cart

Four functions on one cart

Drywall delivery, long stock and repeated material runs put different demands on a cart. The Lift & Go combines powered travel with a lifting, rotating deck to handle both the move and the transfer.

01

Powered travel

The battery-powered cart carries the load under operator control. Four-wheel steering turns the front and rear axles together, which helps when manoeuvring around site obstacles.

02

Hydraulic deck lift

A 150 mm / 5.9 in stroke raises and lowers the load for transfer onto suitable trestles. The receiving supports and their height are checked for the job.

03

360° deck rotation

The deck turns horizontally, changing the load’s orientation without repositioning the whole cart. Long loads still need room for their ends to swing.

04

Wireless control

Radio control operates driving and deck lift, with no drawbar projecting from the cart. The operator can stand where the load and route are in clear view.

Applications

Drywall, long stock and building materials

Drywall stacks

Supported stacks of drywall and other sheet materials travel from the unloading area to the work zone. The deck lift helps transfer a stack onto suitable trestles.

Steel and long loads

Steel sections, pipes and other long stock ride on the drawbar-free cart. Deck rotation changes their orientation where the route and load length allow.

Tile and stone

Supported loads of floor tile, stone and other building materials can be carried. Their weight, footprint and support arrangement decide how they travel.

Dimension drawings

The drawing shows the standard Lift & Go carts. Its Wireless weight (326 kg) and minimum trestle height (660 mm) apply to the model without the rotating deck, so the table above lists the 360° Wireless values.

Plan the job

Space for the cart, clearance for the load

Route and turning space

Doorways, corners and elevator interiors need clearance for the loaded cart, including the sweep of long materials when turning or rotating the deck. Measure the route at its tightest points.

Ground, floors and transfer points

Firm support is needed along the route and at the unloading position. Floor and elevator limits must account for the machine, the load and the wheel loading, and ramps, thresholds and trestle height are part of the site review.

Questions about the ErgoMover rental

Which ErgoMover is available to rent?

Our rental is the ErgoMover Lift & Go 360° Wireless: battery-powered, with hydraulic deck lift, horizontal deck rotation and radio remote control. A trained operator is included.

How much can it carry?

Up to 1,500 kg / 3,307 lb, counting any supports or fixtures on the deck. Size, balance and securing also affect what can be moved.

Can it lift a drywall stack onto trestles?

Yes. The deck lifts 150 mm / 5.9 in to transfer a supported stack onto suitable trestles. The 360° model needs trestles at least 700 mm / 27.6 in high, and we check the transfer arrangement for your load.

Will it fit through our doorway or into an elevator?

Unloaded, the cart is 701 mm / 27.6 in wide and 1,702 mm / 67.0 in long. The loaded width, length and height, the turning space and the elevator capacity must also suit the route.

Can it carry long steel sections or pipes?

Yes, with suitable support and securing. With no drawbar and a rotating deck, long loads can be turned where there is room, and their length and balance set the clearance needed.

Can it work indoors or on a construction site?

Yes. It runs on batteries with no exhaust at the machine, so it suits indoor routes as well as site ground, subject to gradients, thresholds and floor protection.

Does the deck tilt a stack upright?

No. The 360° Wireless lifts and rotates its deck. Tilting sheets upright is done by the separate ErgoMover Manipulator, which appears in the photos above.

Do you rent outside Vancouver?

Yes. Rentals cover the Lower Mainland, and projects elsewhere in British Columbia and Canada can be arranged by location, duration and transport requirements.

Can we buy or lease an ErgoMover?

Yes. Pick & Place supplies GMV equipment for purchase and leasing. Tell us your usual loads, transfer heights and working space, and we will discuss the configuration.
