Compact glazing robot
Lifts glass and panels up to 600 kg / 1,323 lb with no crane. The base is 890 mm / 35 in wide.

Tracked glazing robot
Lifts up to 1,000 kg / 2,205 lb to 6,050 mm / 19.8 ft on rubber tracks, with no outriggers to set.

Lasius 1.5t
Mini crane
A battery-powered pick-and-carry crane that lifts over obstacles and lowers loads below floor level. GMV builds the Lasius in several configurations.

Electric material cart

About the partnership
Why Pick & Place distributes GMV in Canada
GMV is a Danish manufacturer of lifting equipment. Its machines take heavy manual lifting off the crew on glazing, drywall and steel jobs.
GMV appointed Pick & Place as its dealer for Canada in August 2026. Our aim matches GMV’s: a safer workplace and more efficient construction work. The appointment was reported by Glass Magazine and Glass Canada Magazine.
We rent these machines with operators on jobs in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. GMV’s export manager, Henrik Skibsted, called Canada “an important market with a strong glazing and construction industry.”

Buy a machine for regular work. We quote the configuration for your loads and your site, with delivery to the site.
Lease
Leasing is arranged through our partner bank, one of Canada’s leading banks. The bank sets the term and the rate. Ask for a lease quote alongside a purchase quote.

Who sells GMV equipment in Canada?
Pick & Place is GMV’s official dealer for Canada, appointed in August 2026. We sell and lease the machines, and we rent them with an operator.
Which GMV machines can I buy?
The Winlet glazing robots, the Lasius mini crane and the ErgoMover material cart. Tell us what you need to lift or carry, and we name the model.
Can I lease a GMV machine?
Yes. Leasing is arranged through our partner bank, and the bank sets the term and the rate. Ask for a lease quote with your purchase quote.
Can I rent a machine before I buy one?
Yes. The Winlet 600, the Winlet 1000 Crawler ER, the Lasius and the ErgoMover are in our rental fleet with an operator included. A rental shows how a machine handles your loads and your site.
Which Lasius configuration can I buy?
Any of them. GMV builds the Lasius in several configurations, and we quote all of them. Our rental unit has the hydraulic winch. Send the loads, the lifting height, and the working environment, and we will specify the configuration.
Do you deliver across Canada?
Yes. We arrange delivery to your site anywhere in Canada, and freight is quoted for each project.
Do you train operators?
We train the crews of regular rental customers on the machines. Training, warranty and service for a purchase are discussed with you directly when you request the quote.
Can I buy other GMV models?
Yes. We can order any machine in GMV’s catalogue, including other Winlet and ErgoMover models and industrial lifting equipment. Tell us the model or the work, and we quote it.
