Features

Rotation and tilt in a compact inline frame

The P11104DC hangs from the hook of a crane or hoist. The four pads sit in one row, and the operator controls the load’s orientation at the lifter.

01

One row of suction pads

Four lipped pads grip a flat face along a single channel. The channel can sit vertically or horizontally against the pane.

02

180° manual rotation

The operator turns the pane edgewise between portrait and landscape by hand. The frame locks at each quarter turn.

03

90° manual tilt

The frame tilts by hand between flat and upright, and latches automatically when upright and centred. Pickup and installation orientations can be planned around that movement.

04

Battery-powered vacuum

A 12 V DC battery runs the vacuum, so no power cable trails from the lifter. Lifting and travel come from the crane or hoist.

Materials

Flat glass and suitable panels

Interior glazing and window units

Partitions, replacement panes and window installations where working space is limited. Pane dimensions, unit depth and the lifting arrangement decide whether the lifter suits the job.

Other flat materials

Smooth, nonporous stone or metal panels where all four pads have sound contact and the material can carry the load. Panel strength, finish and overhang are assessed for each lift.

Pad contact and glass coatings

The pads need clean, dry, smooth contact areas. Coatings, frit, surface texture and sensitive finishes affect suitability, and can change the capacity or leave pad marks. The P11104DC is for flat materials only.

Load thickness, pad contact and material strength change the available capacity. Overall sizes come from the manufacturer drawing and cover the lifter alone. Pad spread is the suction footprint, and the pane, the rigging and the operator need room on top of both.

Dimension drawing

The drawing shows the lifter in its vertical and flat orientations.

Plan the lift

Doorways, corridors and hoist access

Doorways, corridors and turning space

The pane and lifter need room along the route, through openings and when the orientation changes, with space left for the operator. A narrow pad channel alone does not show that the assembly fits, so the pane, the drawing dimensions and the route are checked together.

Headroom and suspended weight

The hoist carries the glass, the lifter and the rigging. The lifter weighs approximately 41 kg / 90 lb, and space above the pane is needed for the lift bar, hook and rigging.

Daily, weekly or monthly

Rent the lifter by the day, week or month, with a trained operator. We review the glass, the working space and the lifting arrangement before confirming.

What the quote covers

The quote confirms the lifting arrangement, the operator and any extra equipment the job needs. Crane or hoist supply is confirmed separately.

Vancouver and the Lower Mainland

We serve Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, Langley, Delta, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, New Westminster and Abbotsford. Interior access, delivery restrictions and the installation schedule are part of the planning.

Questions about the inline lifter rental

How much can the P11104DC lift?

Up to 320 kg / 700 lb of suitable flat material. Load thickness, surface condition and how the material is supported can lower the available capacity.

Will it fit through our doorway?

That depends on the pane, its orientation, the lifter and the hoisting arrangement. The 300 mm / 12 in pad-spread width is a contact footprint, not a doorway dimension, so send the opening sizes and we check the complete assembly against the drawing.

Does it rotate and tilt the glass?

Yes. It rotates 180° edgewise and tilts 90° between flat and upright, both by hand at the lifter. The battery powers only the vacuum.

Do we need a crane or hoist?

Yes. It is a suspended attachment, so a compatible crane or hoist provides the lifting and movement, with capacity for the glass, the lifter and the rigging.

Can it handle insulated or coated glass?

Suitable units are assessed by weight, complete depth and pad-contact surface. The full 320 kg / 700 lb rating applies to loads up to 25 mm / 1 in thick, and thicker units need a lower capacity. Coated surfaces need a compatibility check.

Can it lift curved or textured glass?

No. This model is for flat materials with smooth contact surfaces. Tell us about the curve or texture and we will advise on the right lifter.

Is an operator included?

Yes. A trained operator comes with the rental, and the quote confirms the lifting arrangement and any extra equipment.
